Friday, August 4th, 2000. William Shakespeare’s 12th Night was performed in Inwood Hill Park Peninsula, inaugurating the Inwood Shakespeare Festival. The beginning of a new company and the beginning of a new era in the performing arts and culture for Northern Manhattan residents.

Moose Hall Theatre Company in producing the Inwood Shakespeare Festival in partnership with City of New York/Parks & Recreation each summer for 17 years, playing a crucial role in the vitality of the Northern Manhattan community with pioneer productions; accessible FREE public programs of theatre & music in Inwood Hill Park Peninsula, bringing together over 47,000 audience members of all ages and cultures from our wonderful communities of Inwood, Washington Heights, Harlem & beyond. . . and counting.

In 2017 we expanded our base in NYC and began a new chapter in traditional and non-traditional venues with our very successful production of DRACULA! THE TALE OF FLESH & BLOOD at the historic 13th Street Repertory Company in Greenwich Village.

In 2020 we return to 13th Street Repertory Theatre with our production of Anton Chekhov’s THE CHERRY ORCHARD!

NOW. . .WE’RE COUNTING ON YOU!
